I’m Caitlin Boswell. :)

I’m a newlywed married to the handsome Andrew Boswell, an adorable accountant and hilarious movie fanatic. We’re on year two of figuring out married life in our super cute rent house with our precious German shepherd, Jack Sparrow. We live in the great state of Oklahoma.

I’m a full-time photographer who dreams of the day I can move to Colorado and live on a ranch with my boys and loads of horses and dogs. I was born in New Jersey, but have been in Oklahoma most of my life. I cling tight to my northeastern roots, however, because they have killer pizza and soft pretzels. I enjoy working out often so there is more room in my belly for pizza, pancakes, and cookie cake. I adore all things nautical, and I’m fairly certain I own at least 57 items that feature an anchor on them. I’m a mildly organized list-maker. I love talks with Jesus, date nights, warm days with just a little rain, and being outside. When I’m not working, you can find me snuggling my pup and watching Jurassic Park for the zillionth time, or hanging out with friends and family and taking an absurd amount of pictures. I’m a big believer in family time, Old Navy, and chocolate chip pancakes.

Andrew is a movie buff who can literally tell you what year each Indiana Jones movie came out and how old Harrison Ford was when he starred in them. He enjoys cinnamon rolls more than any person I’ve ever encountered. When he’s not working as a mortgage underwriter, he’s catching up on Netflix, watching movie trailers, or chasing Jack in the backyard…or being forced by me to take pictures. He likes Mat Kearney music, the Dallas Cowboys, and Star Wars and Lord of the Rings movies. His favorite kind of day is warm and sunny with a trip to Barnes and Noble. He loves a good burger and fries meal, and he has a bowl of Cheerios every single day. We met playing 4-square at Falls Creek (I beat him…don’t ever let him tell you differently), and he proposed to me there 3 years later. I’m smitten. ;)

Jack Sparrow is our handsome German shepherd who is about to celebrate his 1st birthday. You can read more about how we brought him home here or watch us surprising our families with him here. He loves sticks more than anything in the world…except maybe Mommy and Daddy. He is a champion snuggler that started out as a nipping, crazy menace, but has turned into the most precious 80-pound lap dog that warms our hearts and makes us laugh every day. He loves being outside, snuggling on our bed, and chewing on as many sticks as he can find.
