Yeah, I’m a little behind on the months in review…but here they are! I’m equally aghast every month when I realize it’s time to make another one…time is flying!
Here’s January and February in case you missed those. Happy Wednesday!

There are two things I love more than most other things…my husband and pancakes.
I invited our immediate families over for some celebratory birthday brunch on Saturday. I even made cute invitations. ;)
I did all the decorating and flower arranging myself…I was so thrilled with how everything came out! :) We {obviously} went with a nautical theme. ;)
Props to Homeland for having awesome flowers. I made all of the floral arrangements in the whole house for $30 altogether!
I’m SO sad that I didn’t get any pictures with all the food set out perfectly before we ate, but making breakfast food for 10 people and getting all of it ready at the same time is harder than I thought. ;) Just imagine there are chocolate chip pancakes on those super cute plates my sweet sister-in-law bought me. ;)
This is an iPhone shot after most of the pancakes were gone. Lol.
The turquoise silverware is from Target a couple years back, and I’m pretty sure I got the napkins from IKEA.
When I finally sat down, the chocolate pancakes took all my worries away. ;)
Sorry this picture is half-eaten food. Haha. But this is kinda what the island looked like before…there was another plate of chocolate chip pancakes as well, but I’m sure I devoured it.
Dad and Brad look like they’re discussing something very important. ;)
And I’m really sad I didn’t take a picture of our cute drink station either, but we had super cute straws… even if no one except Alyssa and I used them. ;)
After the feast and after Andrew opened some fabulous presents, we played with Jackers. :)
Cutie pie loves sticks.
Love my handsome birthday boy!
Haha, Jackers loves Grandpa. :)
You guys are cute. Give me a nephew. ;) :)
Jack did so good with everybody. He still gets so excited and hyper with other people, but he’s much more agreeable outside where he has lots of sticks to chase. ;) He was pretty tuckered out!
And yesterday, on Andrew’s actually birthday, his day started with breakfast in bed.
We went to church and Buffalo Wild Wings afterward with our families. Then Andrew took a super long and much-deserved nap. :) I gave him an Old School Bagel Cafe gift card and a new shirt, and Friday I’m taking him to Six Flags. :)
And to end a lovely birthday weekend, we snuggled this pooch. :)
Happy Monday!

I feel like the year is flying by at lightning speed…let’s catch up, shall we? Here’s what’s been happening in the land of Boswell.
Jacker Bear has been super awesome lately, and we’ve been getting in lots of snuggles and play time.
He’s recently decided that he should be on top of my lap when I’m working at my computer, and he literally hops up with his front legs halfway and sits there while I work. (Excuse the morning hair and no makeup look I’m sporting.)
I don’t mind. :)
And he thinks he should be allowed to share the laptop with Andrew.
He actually was a big boy and let us give him a bath without really trying to escape.
We’re so proud of our happy little boy. :) He’ll be 9 months in a few days! Craziness.
In other news, we’ve been THRILLED with some of the recent weather and finally had time to mow and plant. (Of course, Oklahoma has decided to throw some more cold at us this week…so rude.)
Jack has been loving the weather too!
Aaand we recently had Longhorn. :) I’ll never tire of this salad!

I bought this.
And we had some good family time. :)
And coming up in the next few weeks (and next few blogs hopefully), we have Andrew’s 24th birthday, a family brunch (PANCAKES!), the beginning of crazy wedding season, warm weather, dozens of photo shoots, our 2 year anniversary (AH!), a trip to Six Flags, and hopefully a beautiful beginning to summer. I’m working on my summer list now… :)
Happy Tuesday darlings. :)

Guess what arrived this week in all its 11×11 inch glory!? :)
Our 2012 yearbook! I’ll let the pictures do the talking…though I’m only posting a few so you don’t have to view all 60 pages. ;) I’m obsessed with it. Another win for Photobook America. :)

Happy Friday!

Firstly…Happy New Year!! :) I hope you all had a fabulous and safe New Year’s Eve! We laid low and spent the night at my parents’ house watching Dark Knight Rises and basking in the glory of Christian Bale. And we had pizza and fudge. Win win. ;)
It’s hard to believe this party was just two weeks ago…I feel like we’ve been trapped inside the sickly days for weeks! Poor Hubs caught something (not from me!) and got a sore throat last week and is just now getting over it. Can we all agree to NEVER GET SICK IN 2013!?!
Ahem.
Here’s some highlights from our Christmas party we had two weekends ago with our sweet friends. It was a much-needed night of hilarity, fellowship, and good food. :) (We did miss my dearest BFF who got sick the night before. :-/ But we sent her a get well card!)
I didn’t take any pictures of the food or our decorations because we had so much fun using our photo booth!!! I’m proud to say I made this little set up all by myself, including the props. ;) We had a blast with it. Click on the pictures to see them bigger. Enjoy!
SO very blessed to have these precious people in our lives. :)
Next post to be blogged…Jack’s first snow. ;)
Happy Wednesday!

This is the longest post ever. It took me twelve years. I’m not even gonna proofread it. Haha. Enjoy, and happy new year! ;)
In January…
Alyssa and I played with darling puppies.
Andrew and I started a new year of the memory jar (more to come on that later…we may or may not have read them two days early.)
Alyssa turned 14. And we filled her bathroom with balloons.
I drank pink lemonade out of a German shepherd cup.
I went to work a lot.
In February…
Hubs created the perfect candlelight Valentine’s dinner.
Complete with rose petals, brisket, and a Reese’s.
I went to the gun range.
And I felt like a boss.
In March…
I dined with these cuties.
And these.
I shot a bow and arrow with ridiculous excitement.
We went to Dallas with the fams and I met the most delightful pancakes.
Hubs got his Potbellie’s. :)
We went on walks.
Best friend took me to paint pottery and feast on cookie cake for my 22nd birthday.
Mom and Alyssa decorated my car.
Hubs dealt with me as I read the entire Hunger Games series with little contact to the outside world.
And at the end of March, we found our new home. :)
In April…
I got new sunglasses.
Hubs donned a snazzy suit for Easter.
We Easter-ed.
With cuties.
I had a hot date.
More Easter-ing.
In May…
Kristi and I had a picnic in the park with alfredo pizza, because that’s the only proper way to picnic.
Hubs and I celebrated our first year of marriage at the happiest place on earth…Disney World!
And it was awesome.
Naturally, we took pictures.
And had a paint fight. ;)
And we moved into our new home. :)
In June…
We took pictures with these cuties in a field of flowers.

We bought a pool.
We had several pancakes.
We played with puppies again.
And went on delicious dates.

And we watched Brad and Sherree get married.
On a magical rooftop.
In July…
We took more pictures.
We had more pancakes.
We dined with more cuties.
We watched fireworks with friends.
In August…
We breakfasted. Often.
We went to White Water Bay.
I went horseback-riding with Mom.
We had even. more. pancakes.
Mom turned 50, and we threw her a party.
A nifty party.
We went biking.
In September…
We drove 4 hours to pick up our darling Jack Sparrow.
And we fell in love.
And some of our besties got engaged.
In October…
Best friend and I travelled to Beaver’s Bend to shoot a wedding.
I had some cookie cake. :)
Jack grew like crazy.
We went to Dallas. So naturally, IKEA.
And the Original Pancake House.
Jack was a very convincing Jack Sparrow for Halloween.
In November…
We took family pictures in a tent. :)
And we took more family pictures.
In December…
We took Christmas pictures.

Andrew graduated!
And we enjoyed loads of Christmas spirit. :)
Here’s to 2013. Happy New Year loves! :)

Wow. Forgive my long absence from the blog and the lack of “merry Christmas” wishes!! Today is the first day I actually feel normal again. Lol. Let me explain.
Sunday morning, I mentioned to Andrew how excited I was to have made it to Christmas this year without getting sick! I get sick almost every single December…a lot of times, on Christmas day, and it’s terribly depressing. This year I got a cold in September and thought that would count as my yearly cold and I’d be safe. I took my echinacea and vitamin C and drank lots of water leading up to Christmas…but on Sunday night, I felt it coming. Andrew, Alyssa, and I went to Johnny Carino’s for dinner to try to infuse my system with garlic…their garlic dipping sauce for their bread is divine. ;)
But sure enough, I woke up Monday morning unable to breathe out of both nostrils. And if you know me well at all, you know I would rather be vomiting for three days than to spend one day unable to breathe out of my nose properly. It annoys me that much. So Christmas Eve, Christmas day, and the day after Christmas were mostly spent in bed for me, blowing my nose, popping my ears, and crying because I was so angry to be sick on Christmas. Hahaha. It was the worst cold I’ve ever had, and I promise I’m not just a baby. ;-P
We DID get to go to the candlelight service at church Christmas Eve (I just brought tissues and cut out early when I felt sick LOL), and we opened presents at Mom and Dad-in-laws’ that night along with brother-in-law. We trekked to my parents Christmas morning with Jackers (and boy was he in a mood), and most of that morning I felt like I was in a fog. But we did get lots of fabulous gifts from both sides. ;) After we left my parents, I felt achy and all I could think about was my bed, so I told Andrew to go to his family’s Christmas, and I celebrated in my own way…by napping for four hours and waking up to watch Iron Will as I drank my orange juice and downed my meds. It was pretty sucky. Haha. BUT I feel pretty great today. Finally. :) It’s been a slow week, but I’m glad it’s pretty much over. This morning, I woke up able to breathe. I’ll take it. :)
SO. I can’t even catch you all up in one blog post about the past week, so I’ll just post pictures are pretend we’re caught up, mmk? :) I will do a separate post to tell you about our super cute Christmas party we had the weekend before Christmas…but there would be over 40 pictures if I tried to combine that with this post, so for now, just enjoy the bits of Christmas I managed to get on camera in my sick stupor. ;)
Andrew and I opened our presents for each other Christmas Eve morning…I needed a pick-me-up. ;)
Best. Show. Ever. We may or may not have already watched that whole season.
Jack likes nerdy financial books too. ;)
Opening his biggest gift… :)
YAY Thunder!! :) Haha. We took Mom and Dad-in-law with us Thursday night and the game was epic.
I got an impressive haul from my stocking. Hubs rocks. ;)
I won’t post many pictures of me because, let’s face it. I was looking rough. But I love this pic of Jackers sniffing out my new jammies. :) haha.
Hands down, my favorite gift. :D Hubs rocked the gift giving this year.
Mom-in-law’s tree belongs on Pinterest. ;)
Brother-in-law getting in the Christmas spirit.
We were super excited about Dad-in-law’s gift from us. :)
Can you see Allie helping Mom-in-law open her gifts?
Try not to look at me. Lol.
Allie was tuckered out by the end of the night.
I loved Mom’s tree this year!
And her table was super festive too. :) I was SO bummed to miss out on her pancakes…I didn’t eat much while sick, but on the plus side, I lost three pounds. ;) Hahaha.

Brad & Sherree opening gifts. :)
Alyssa. Being Alyssa.
Dad wasn’t feeling well either, so I don’t have any good pictures of him. :( The Ulrichs…we’re cursed! :-P
Jacky Boy needed a Christmas bow to cheer me up. :)
Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas with lots of family, friends, and food! :) I’ve got lots of posts lined up now that I’m feeling well again, so be prepared. ;) :)

The Christmas spirit is keeping us busy this week. :) Here’s what the Boswells have been up to lately….
We’ve been getting some SUPER cute Christmas cards. ;)
I’ve been wrapping some super cute Christmas presents.
Jack has been making super cute faces.
We’ve snuggled.
And snuggled.
We finally put our presents under the tree…all twelve million of them. :) Jack is doing so good at not eating them! ;)
We dressed up and went on a Christmas date. :)
To Longhorn. :) :) :)
We played some football.
I whipped up some cookie dough. :D
And thus, some cookies.
Jack tried to distract Andrew from studying for his finals.
And we visited this sweet guy in the hospital. Sweet friends, please do me a favor and say a prayer right now for him and his family. This is our hilarious friend Justin, and he is currently battling cancer. We are praying God heals him immediately and miraculously. Justin is such a testimony for the Lord, and we know his life will bring glory to Him! Thank you for praying.
Loves you all! Have a wonderful week!

I. Adore. December.
I’ve finished up my photo shoots and editing, and I’ve got only a handful of things left to do to wrap everything up with the CaitPhoto side of my life for 2012. :) I’m spending most of my days working part-time at my parents’ office, and it’s been a lovely break from my ordinary work. Granted, all I do is type on a computer and make copies for hours, but it’s funny how relaxing those things are to me this time of year. ;)
I intended to show you all of our decorations, but I need to clean again before I can take proper pictures. ;) I promise my house was clean three days ago, but between Andrew’s tax project being due and my addressing our Christmas cards, the house has blown up again. BUT. Here’s a little peek into our Christmas spirit. :) Let’s take a moment to acknowledge how fab my mom-in-law is. She hung the wreaths with some help from Hubs, made the bows, and hung the garland. We have our own little super decorator.
These two are some of our first ornaments that we bought for our first married Christmas…obviously we have our Jackers this year. :) Maybe next year or the year after, we’ll have Charlie. ;)
I’ve yet to find the courage to put our Christmas presents under the tree…Jack already thinks all those ornaments and branches taste fabulous. I’m afraid of what he might do to the presents. I’ll have to put them out when I have more time to keep an eye on him. ;)
I’ve had this little guy for what feels like forever…since high school. I named him Dave. Yes, I know he’s sitting on my 10 lb weights. I’ll move them eventually. Lol.
I’m pretty stoked to have a new stocking this year for puppy. :) I’ll show you our stockings and a few other decorations when I have time to clean and blog again. I’m off to work. :)
Merry Friday!!! :)
