Dear Friday, Let’s be friends. We’ve got lots to do today!

Dear Husband, Dude. You’re so handsome. Thanks for being my early morning workout buddy FOUR DAYS IN A ROW this week! I’m so proud of you. We are total bosses. AND we’re gonna be super babes come summertime. ;)

Dear Jesus, Your faithfulness is blowing me away! Thank you for continuing to show me that Your plans are higher than mine. I’d be much obliged if Your plans also included Jack’s hyperactivity dying down some time in the near future. ;) Loves you.

Dear Mama, Thanks for buying me eternal Sonic drinks and worshipping admiring Russell Crowe with me. You are Superwoman.

Dear Jackers, Thanks for all the kisses and snuggles this morning. :) I know it’s only cuz you chewed on carpet last night, you sneaky little plotter.

blogFRIDAY01

Dear Weight, Please go down two more pounds so I can eat pizza again.

Dear Pizza, I cannot wait to see you!!!

Dear People Reading This, I loves you. Hope your Friday is full of good people and good food. :)

Dear Friday, I love you oh so much. Thanks for being here.

Dear Hubs, You’re super duper. Thanks for making awkward phone calls for me and for bringing me hot fudge sundaes. I’m excited to go ice skating with you today. :)

Dear Sister, You hilarious little munchkin. Thanks for loving on my dog and providing me endless humor. Wuvs you.

Dear Mama, Thanks for driving me around and letting me annoy you at work. I’m buying you a life size Hugh Jackman poster for Christmas. I’m also lying.

Dear Christmas, Stay where you are for now…I haven’t finished decorating or shopping yet. But I’m glad you’re close. :)

Dear Jackers, You wonderful puppy dog! I am so happy you are a snuggler now and have been a stellar pup the past couple weeks. Can’t wait for you to graduate from puppy class next week!

Dear Dad, Have I mentioned how much I adore my iPhone?

Dear Readers, Loves you fabulous darlings. :)

Dear Friday, I am so glad you are here. I have waited for you, sweet weekend, to bring me a break from the busy! Bless you. Let’s go swimming tomorrow, mmk? Mmk, great.

Dear Editing, We are not friends this month. I have 10,000 photos to go through, and it’s only just begun. I do, however, appreciate you allowing me to work in my PJs while I sip on chocolate milk and watch Homeward Bound. But please end quickly.

Dear Workouts, We are becoming BFFs! Hallelujah, because I’m going to need to start swimming soon, and you need to help fix me up. Billy Blanks makes me feel like a rockstar.

Dear Mornings, Apparently I like you now? Who’d have ever guessed.

Dear Husband, I loves you. Thank you for sharing my love for food and for working so hard so we’re able to afford date nights filled with lots of food. Hey, let’s go on a date soon. Olive Garden?

Dear Amy Green, I am SO happy I get to watch you get married tonight!! :D

Dear Kristi Belle, Come hang out with me soon. I’m sure there is something we need to discuss. Or a cake in my fridge we could eat. ;)

Dear Mama, Thank you for being my sanity and accepting my phone calls of hysteria. You give me desperately-needed perspective. Thank you.

And dear Michael’s, Please stop selling such cute nautical merchandise until I have more money.

Happy weekend!

I’m linking up for the first time for Friday Letters because I think it is so darn clever, and I love a good mini letter!

Dear Friday, I am so glad you’re here. I am going to enjoy every bit of you and see Hunger Games (for the 4th time) this afternoon with Hubs and perhaps feast on popcorn chicken from Sonic afterward. :)

Dear Husband, I love you. Thank you for taking out the trash and for helping me with laundry. I hate laundry. I can’t wait to move into our new house and drive you crazy with my decorating ideas. You’re super good-looking, and I think we should go on a date sometime. I feel really warm when I’m around you, and my tongue swells up (NAME THAT MOVIE). I like this picture of you because you’re making a manly face while holding my floral shoes. Also…thank you for not judging me when I eat cookie cake.

Dear Cookie Cake, I love you. To infinity and beyond. I’m so glad I chose you for lunch.

Dear Wormy, I hope you do fabulously in your tennis tournament tomorrow. Andrew & I are excessively thrilled to show you the final Harry Potter film tomorrow night. Get excited. Please make something delicious for us to snack on while we watch. ;)

Dear Mama, Thank you for answering my outfit picture texts and giving me your wise opinions when I ask ridiculous questions. You’re my fave.

Dear Future Dog, Loves you. I’m so ready to get you so I will have a walking buddy any time I want and a snuggler at my beckon call 24 hours a day.

Dear Jesus, Thank you. So. Very. Much. I am completely in love with you and so grateful for everything you’ve done for me. Thank you for facing the cross so I could be with you forever. You basically rock.

Dear Blog Readers, You make me smile and feel mildly significant. I wish you all a fabulous Good Friday, and may the cookie cake be ever in your stomach. (That’s my new twist on the Hunger Games slogan. Catchy, right?!)

:) :)

I’m linking up again at http://littledaisymay.blogspot.com/ for What I’m Loving Wednesday!

I’m loving this lovely lady! She just brought me this…

:) She rocks.

I’m loving cornbread chicken casserole. Guys. I can’t remember the last time I wanted to make the same meal four times a week. THIS, my friends, is delicious. I apologize for the worst possible picture to ever graze a blog – I was taking it too fast because I was so ready to eat it! Haha. It’s a fabulous meal of chicken breasts, cream of chicken soup, swiss cheese, and butter-soaked Peppridge Farm cornbread stuffing crumbs on top. Email/message me if you’d like the recipe. It’s divine.

I’m loving that I’ll be on THIS AWESOME RIDE AT DISNEY WORLD IN 46 DAYS! :-D Sorry for the all caps. I sincerely hope you read that in my screaming voice. This is the Buzz Lightyear Space Ranger Spin, AKA, the greatest ride at Disney World.

And in 47 days, we’ll be laying out by this freakishly awesome pirate ship pool, reading books, eating excessively, and pretending we never have to go home. :)

In case you haven’t noticed from my last two posts….I’m loving our soon-to-be house. And I’m actually loving packing. :)

I’m loving marriage. This dude is hilarious, and I’m so blessed to hang out with him every day. :)

Lastly, I’m loving this sweet girl. It’s been three years today since she passed away, and I miss her all the time. I’m listening to Simon & Garfunkel for her today and wishing she was here to enjoy Sonic drinks and sarcasm with me. Love and miss you so much Erin Elizabeth!

I’m linking up for What I’m Loving Wednesday!

I’m loving my new sticky notes! I bought a Vistaprint groupon, and designed these little babies in Photoshop and got them in yesterday. I love them! I’m going to make some more for some friends. :) (Sorry about the phone camera pic)

I’m loving that I’m EIGHT POUNDS DOWN PEOPLE! :) Haha. That means I’m two pounds away from a trip to Red Lobster and then a run to the mall for a slice of cookie cake. I’m trying reaalllly hard today and tomorrow to get down that last two pounds so we can go there Friday for date night…another day of plain hamburger patties, peanuts, and cheese…I can make it. Of course, after my feast the 2 pounds will come right back, but I’ll work on that next week. ;)

Words cannot accurately express how excited I am to get some cheese rolls, and then feast on that icing for dessert! :-D

I’m loving countdowns! Most importantly, we are 7 days away from the end of February! That makes me excited. The next few months are my favorite. We are 22 days away from my birthday! (More info on that to come soon!) 59 days away from Andrew’s birthday! 68 until our lease ends and we’re in a new house!! :-D And 88 days till our 1-year anniversary trip to Disney World! :-D Andrew and I discuss it almost every day.

I’m loving this ridiculously addictive game. Oh my goodness, guys. It’s hilarious. I love seeing how people draw things or try to draw things, myself included. Haha. Sooo fun. Go get the app. :)

And obviously, I love this dude. What a stud. ;) [Side note...I'm dyyying to go back to Colorado. Planning a trip ASAP.]

Happy Wednesday! Be happy! The week is half over! :-D

I’m linking up for “What’s Your Love Story” – mostly because I couldn’t resist that cute puppy face up in that picture. ;-P

1. How long have you and your significant other been together? We met & started dating the summer before our senior year…so 2007. It’ll be 5 years total in July.
2. How did you meet? We met at Falls Creek (a Christian camp my church goes to every year) when we were playing 4-square. We’d both seen each other in youth, but never really talked. I flirted shamelessly, and on the night before we left for home, he leaned in smiling from the line while I was in one of the 4 squares and said, “If you get Preston out, I’ll take you on an icee date.” I nearly fainted said, “OK!” and proceeded to not get Preston out because I was so nervous, but he took me on an icee date anyway. ;) We went on our first real date when we got home (Steve’s Ribs & a movie), and the rest is history. :)
3. If married, how long have you been married? We’ll be celebrating our 1-year anniversary this May 21st! At Disney World. No big deal. ;)
4. If you are married, where did you get married at? Big or small wedding? We got married in the church we really grew up in – Quail Springs Baptist, and it was a medium-sized wedding – 275ish people I think? We had our reception at the Chesapeake Boathouse downtown. Looooved it all. :)
5. Do you have any nick-names that you call one another? Nothing really out of the ordinary I don’t think….baby, honey, stud, beautiful, etc. I like to call him hubs now cuz it sounds so funny.
6. Name 3 things you love most about your honey. (1) I love that he loves the Lord & sees the good in everybody, especially when I don’t see any good. Lol. (2) I love that he loves movies – we’re big homebodies who love to chill and stay home snuggling & watching movies. (3) I love that he’s very thoughtful & does things for me when I don’t even ask…taking out the trash, doing dishes… stuff like that. He rocks. ;)
7. Tell us how he proposed? Whew…prepare yourselves. We met at Falls Creek, remember? After I graduated high school, I went back to Falls Creek a couple times as a counselor. I went back in 2010 and on June 30, 2010, he and our families were supposed to be coming up to go to tabernacle service that night with us…very normal, they come up most years to visit. That night, I was waiting outside so I could walk them in to the right spot to sit, but they were running late or “something.” One of my favorite church leaders and heroes Shaun came out of the tabernacle & said Tobin (our youth pastor) had left something at the volleyball court, and I needed to go help him pick it up. I hesitated and told him I was waiting for Andrew, but he insisted. We drove off in THE Andy Harrison’s golf cart and I told Shaun not to go off-roading…I have a minor fear of any type of vehicle on hills, and Falls Creek is full of them. When he started to go off the road and turn around, I freaked for a second, but then Shaun pointed to a spot by the waterfalls, and I looked up and saw Andrew. AND a cute bench on a blanket of yellow rose petals with a table next to it with more flowers and candles and a black velvet box. I remember freaking out, hugging Shaun, walking over to Andrew, and that’s all I remember till after we were engaged. Andrew had a lovely prepared speech that I’m sure was awesome. I don’t remember a thing. Hahaha. It was the biggest and most wonderful surprise of my life, and he did a perfect job. ;) He slipped a three-stone diamond and sapphire ring on my finger & my best friend came out from behind a rock, where she was hiding taking pictures the whole time. Our families showed up a few minutes later and we went back to the cabin to celebrate with “Congratulations” cookie cake. :)
8. Is he a flowers and teddy bear kind of guy for v-day, or strawberries, champagne, and rose petals? I guess he’s a mixture? Flowers and teddy bear and rose petals…and chocolate. I don’t like strawberries & champagne, so he buys me lots of chocolate. :) Haha.
9. Are you a sunset dinner on the beach kind of girl, or pop a movie in and relax on the couch? Ugh, I can’t choose….both. I’m in love with the sunset on the beach scenario, but for every day, I’m very much a movie & relax kind of girl…guess it helps that I live hundreds of miles away from a nice beach.
10. Tell us one thing you’d like to do with your significant other one day. If you could do anything? Go anywhere? I’d love to travel…a lot. I really am hoping for Hawaii in a couple years, but we’d both really love to go to New Zealand and Australia…and Italy and Greece too. Hopefully we’ll be able to do some traveling some day. OR I’d love to own a ranch one day here with lots of dogs & horses & maybe some goats. :)
11. Tell us what you plan on doing on this Valentine’s Day. Well, Andrew plans on surprising me, but I’m hoping it has something to do with Longhorn or Red Lobster (or some other ridiculously delicious place that I can cheat on my diet) and snuggling and watching a movie. Haha. We are definitely going to IHOP for breakfast on Valentine’s Day, but not celebrating officially till the next day because Andrew has a night class on Tuesday.
12. Are you asking for anything this Valentine’s day? Chocolate. A Reese’s, a Hershey’s, and a 3 Musketeers. (I’ve been sugar free for 5 days on this diet…I’m dying.)
13. Give us one piece of advice of keeping a relationship strong and full of love. Be silly &   laugh a lot. Take pictures & talk about memories & make goals. Pray together. Go on adventures any chance you get. :)
14.  Show us a picture of what love means to you.

This is when we saw each other for the first time on our wedding day. Andrew’s face makes me all warm and toasty inside. ;)

I’m loving…

Free time! As much as I’m a non-winter person, I have to admit I’m enjoying the free time it’s brought me! I have been going to my 2nd job every day lately, but because I haven’t scheduled any photo shoots till February, I’ve had so much more free time in the afternoon/evening. I’ve gotten to work out almost every day for an hour and catch up on laundry and cleaning! I’m ready for spring weather and photo shoots to start back up, but I will miss not having to work at home!

Planning. Always have been, always will be a planner. I have four calendars in my home right now and two planners I use frequently. I also use my iPad’s calendar, and I make To Do lists and schedules nearly every. single. day. I bring my notebooks & planners to work with me and when I get a break, I can plan! :) Currently, I’m planning for Valentine’s Day, my birthday, Andrew’s birthday, our 1-year anniversary (DISNEYWORLD I’M SO FRIGGIN EXCITED), & planning for when we move in a few months! :D

Pinterest. I love Pinterest every day of the week. Recent favorites…

Working Out. I have LOVED the past few workouts, and I’m getting excited for looser-fitting clothes and the opportunity to buy new clothes! Haha. I’m getting there, slowly but surely. I’m going to try to eat really well & get down a few pounds by my birthday…because I will be eating cookie cake for my birthday. And maybe Coldstone.

My Familia! Andrew has class on Tuesday nights, so last night I went over to visit my family and have Mom’s super delicious parmasean chicken. Yum. Brad wound up coming over, and I watched as he, Mom, & Dad tried to put together the new TV stand for Dad’s new TV. Hysterical. Worm & I laughed and watched YouTube videos while they worked. ;)

My Best Friend. Lord knows this girl was meant to be my best friend. If I need a laugh or a prayer warrior, I don’t even have to ask. She completes me. Haha. :) I’m so thankful for such a Godly woman in my life!

Andrew. Seriously. This man works harder than anybody. He is constantly at work or at school or studying, and when he’s not doing those things, he’s busy being the best husband of all time! :)

And he makes awesome serious faces. ;)

Happy Wednesday!! Only two more days till the weekend!! :D

~Cait

I’m linking up today for What I’m Loving Wednesday!

I’m loving…

My new shirt from Plato’s Closet! I’m really into flannel and plaid this year. And it’s warm!

I’m loving that I got to go to the OSU game last night with Andrew! We’re both super busy (and by super I mean SUPER DUPER) so it’s been a while since we’ve gotten to go do something fun and different. Andrew’s boss gave him some tickets and we road tripped to Stillwater for the game last night. They won! :)

I’m loving that next week is THANKSGIVING! :-D I’m SO excited to get some down time with my family and some rest! And I’m already craving my grandma’s mashed potatoes like none other…:)

And I’m loving this dude! He’s hilarious. Such a trooper through our Christmas pics. Haha.

~Cait

My sweet friend Bekah was one of the first people I knew to start blogging (or at least one of the first I actually read haha), and she links up with Jamie at http://littledaisymay.blogspot.com for “What I’m Loving Wednesdays.” Reading all their entries just kind of puts me in a good mood, so I thought I’d link up today! :)

I’m loving… my new wreath that’s on my office door! It makes me smile! :) Sorry for the crappy cell phone picture.

I’m loving… that fall is coming! Today’s going up to the 90s :-/ but it’s going down after that, and I’m ready to wear these boots!!

I’m loving… that I’m 22 days away from being here!!! :-D

Garden of the Gods…one of my very favorite places in Colorado. :)

Cheyenne Mountain Zoo – where you can feed giraffes! Haha. :)

And Ouray, CO – where I’ve never been, but my family said it’s amazing. Apparently Ralph Lauren has a house there, so I guess it’s cool. Haha.

I’m loving… this guy right here. :) He’s such a hard worker and a super & hilarious husband. :)

I’m also LOVING that the weekend is just two days away…I’m ready for some chill time. :)
