Hawaii – Part III

Friday was spent horseback-riding, hiking, and eating. ;)

HF01

Mom, Mom-in-law, Alyssa, and I headed to Princeville Ranch, and we did the horseback-riding waterfall tour…complete with a picnic. ;) I wasn’t allowed to take my big camera, so all of these are iPhone shots.

Our tour guide was nice enough to grab a picture of the four of us. Check out that pretty background!

I’m obsessed with this picture of Worm and her horse – look at his tongue! Haha.

Baby sister love.

After we tied up our horses, we hiked to this waterfall and had a picnic lunch.

The water was freezing, but I needed a picture under it!

The slippery climb made us feel hard core. *insert laughing emoticon*

My horse’s name was Opihi. Apparently opihi is a type of limpet that people like to eat on Kauai. It was fitting that it had to do with food. ;)

HF20

While we were horseback-riding, the rest of the fam went hiking in the Na Pali Coast area.

And at some point we all went to get lunch at this little burger stand on the side of the road, but all I did was play with this dog.

HF21

Alyssa took this picture of him laying at my feet. Made me miss my Jackers!

HF22

We had dinner at a place called Brick Oven Pizza…it was such a relief to eat pizza again after the pre-Hawaii diet. ;)

And finally, we all split some lava cake at the hotel to end the night properly.

Happy Thursday loves! :)
