I hate to say it, but I’m 24 years old. The weekend is over. The cookie cake is gone. It’s time to go eat veggies for five days and pretend I don’t feel really old. ;)
I’m so thankful for the sweet people the Lord has surrounded me with that make me feel so special. It was a lovely week of celebration and fabulous food and fun. :)
I had a birthday week lunch with these two lovelies at Cici’s, where we feasted like there was no tomorrow.
The night before my birthday, we took pictures and had more pizza. ;)
I woke up to some pretty wonderful gifts from Andrew on my birthday morning! Bananagrams is one of the best games ever, in case you’re unaware, and I’m SO excited about my new tent!! :D
Jack’s present was extra snuggle time.
And cute faces.
Mom and Lys left some sweet surprises on my porch!
Breakfast at IHOP came with another big surprise…my sweet Mimi came to visit all the way from New Jersey! :)
And again, we feasted. ;)
Jackers and I chilled while we waited for Andrew to get off work.
And husband and I spent the day shopping, snuggling, and napping. :)
And eating, of course. Side note: remember those breadsticks that Cici’s used to have before they foolishly got rid of them? Well, good news. Little Caesar’s calls this Italian Cheese Bread, and it’s almost identical. You’re welcome. ;)
We went to Papa Angelo’s for dinner with the fam, but I don’t really have any exciting pictures from that, unfortunately. The pizza was gone before I snapped a photo. ;)
I am blessed with people who know me all too well. ;) (Not pictured is a heap of gift cards and birthday money, some candles, and more Reese’s and Smarties because everyone knows I have a problem.)
Sunday night was spent at Mom’s with more family and a blessed cookie cake. ;)
Sigh. The years are going fast. I’m just thankful Andrew turns 25 first. ;)
Happy Tuesday, loves!
