Our second and final full day at Disney was spent mostly at Animal Kingdom and Hollywood Studios, after a happy breakfast of course. ;)
Andrew sat down to this waffle and starting singing. Hey Mickey, you’re so fine, you’re so fine you blow my mind, hey Mickey. Haha.
We loved the dinosaur section, and it was practically empty the first half hour. I was thrilled not having to fight crowds. ;)
This ride was hilarious/awesome…anyone remember this movie? I haven’t seen it in years, but we loved the ride.
Clair Huxtable?? What are you doing on this ride?!
Our favorite at Animal Kingdom was definitely Expedition Everest. I don’t know why, but the whole Yeti element really makes me laugh.
We walked through some animal exhibits and watched this pretty little lady pace back and forth.
The safari ride was probably the longest wait we had. Apparently the ostriches were feeling sassy and blocked the road to delay our trip.
We made one more mid-day stop at Magic Kingdom because we wanted to ride Buzz Lightyear one more time. Andrew had beaten me three times in a row, and I had to redeem myself. ;)
Lucky for me, we got stuck on the ride, landing me directly in front of a 10,000 point target for 5 minutes, and I destroyed him. Hahaha. ;)
We probably should work on being less competitive.
Before we headed to Hollywood Studios, we visited the Art of Animation resort. It’s the most recent one they’ve built, and it is absolutely incredible! We had lunch and explored the resort to kill some time while it rained.
Finding Nemo is my favorite Disney movie, so I loved all the little details!
And The Lion King is Andrew’s favorite Disney movie, so it was convenient that the two themes were at the same resort. ;)
Andrew could’ve done without the Little Mermaid section. Baha.
I don’t have many pictures from Hollywood Studios because my phone was dying, but Andrew took a few. He was pretty excited about the Star Tours ride. :)
The Toy Story ride was new to us and another quick favorite!
We headed to Downtown Disney Friday night and quickly became obsessed with the T-REX restaurant.
The design was uh.mazing.
We were seated right next to one of the aquariums.
Look at all the Dorys!
We split a large appetizer plate – bruschetta, chicken quesadillas, and chips and queso! (We wept when it was over.)
Next up is the beach and Universal Studios. :) Happy weekend, loves!
