I’m four days late…but Happy New Year! ;) We have been soaking up every ounce of time off, and it’s been absolutely glorious. It was a little harder to wake up this morning, but we kicked off the first Monday of the year at the gym! (…crying inside a little bit…)
I’m sure it’ll come as a surprise to no one that we spent New Year’s Eve at Cheesecake Factory. ;) We received so many gift cards for Christmas from fabulous friends and family who know us all too well. :D
After dinner, we headed home to have our first sleepover with this precious baby!
I can’t get enough.
Sleepy little man did so good. :)
While baby was asleep, we pored through all the little memories we wrote down in 2015 before ringing in the new year. I LOVE this tradition. We are quick to forget, so we’ve always tried to write down the funny things that happen throughout the year and read them at the end of December. It’s a fun New Year’s Eve activity. :)
Jack’s New Year’s resolution is to catch more frisbees.
If I had to pick one word to describe 2015, I think it would be crazy. Crazy good, crazy busy, crazy incredible, crazy exhausting…just crazy all around. We loved it, but I hope 2016 is a little more relaxed. :)
Our verse for 2016 is Colossians 2:6-7. Does anyone else pick a verse for the year? I’d love to hear it if you do. :)
“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in Him, rooted and built up in Him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”
Hope you all have a wonderful first week of 2016!
